  • After October 2005 earthquake, LRBT immediately set up an interim 10-bed Eye Hospital in a rented premises in Mansehra for the earthquake affected people.
  • This temporary set-up has now been replaced by a permanent Eye Hospital, constructed on Balakot road, which is about 15 KM away from Mansehra. The land was again donated by Mr. Usman Paracha.
  • This new hospital started functioning on March 2,2009. It is a 40-bed hospital with the facilities of OPD Refraction, Pharmacy, major & minor Operation Theatres, Lasers rooms and a Low Vision Clinic with appropriate state-of-the-art-equipment.
  • LRBT Mansehra Hospital is benefitting the under privileged residents of its neighborhood who are still facing hardship post earth-quake disaster, & will help them arrest the growing rate of curable blindness and impaired vision.
  • This hospital covers the area of entire Mansehra Distt., Batgram, Muzzafarabad (Azad Jammu & Kashmir), Abbotabad, Daggar and Haripur.
  • Expected number of OPD patients per day is 160 along with approximately 25 major and minor surgeries performed – ALL FREE OF COST
